Experienced Coal Miners

GMS is actively searching to add several Underground Coal Miners to our expanding Alabama Team! These positions are primarily based out of the Bessemer/Tuscaloosa area and will consist of various mining tasks including equipment operation, laboring, basic maintenance, and other industry tasks.
Responsibilities
Perform various underground mining tasks
Work as safe and efficiently as possible at all times
Always wear proper PPE, gear, equipment
Work productively alongside various members of the GMS Team
Requirements
Alabama Experienced Miner Certification
A minimum of 1-year underground mining experience
Must be willing to work rotating shifts, rotating days off and overtime as required
Must possess valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Basic ability to speak, read and write English
Job Specifications
Work Schedule: 5+ days/week, 40/hours/week, rotating shifts (MAD)
Pay Range: $24-32/hour, based on experience
