GMS is hiring for Experienced Mobile Maintenance Mechanics for an operation near Tucson, Arizona!

Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on electric Shovels and electric / diesel Drills and other Mine equipment.
Perform major repairs on all mobile mine equipment including electric Shovels and Drills, Boom trucks, Forklifts, etc.
Adherence to all company safety and health guidelines.
Ability to operate large equipment such as forklifts, man lifts, boom trucks and other equipment.
Proficiency with Arc Welding, Wire Feed and Cutting Torch.
Proficiency in Mechanics, Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Electrical 12/24-volt DC systems.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as SOPs, JSAs and all other safety and procedure
Requirements
Part 48 MSHA certification required.
At least 5 years of experience in the mining industry.
Expert competence repairing and maintaining P&H shovels and Atlas Copco drills.
Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50+ pounds.
Ability to work in cramped / confined areas.
Ability to work in adverse climate / temperature environments.
Job Specifications
Work schedule: 7 on/ 7 off rotation schedule
Pay Rate: Starting $30+ per hour (Based on Experience). Daily per diem offered
