Underground Mobile Mechanic
IMMEDIATE OPENING

GMS is actively searching to add several Underground Mobile Mechanics to our expanding Western Team! These positions are primarily based out of Nevada and will consist of various tasks related to underground mining and underground maintenance. Prior experience working on underground mining equipment is required to gain consideration for these vacancies.
Responsibilities
Perform various underground mining/maintenance tasks
Work as safe and efficiently as possible at all times
Always wear proper PPE, gear, equipment
Work productively alongside various members of the GMS Team
Requirements
MSHA Part 48
A minimum of 5 years underground mining experience; 4+ of which needs to be performing underground mobile maintenance
Experience working on Sandvik equipment highly preferred
Experience working on various underground equipment including various support equipment, drills, and bolters
Must be willing to work rotating shifts, rotating days off and overtime as required
Must possess valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Basic ability to speak, read and write English
Job Specifications
Work Schedule: Multiple, 7/7, 14/14, various others depending on location
Pay Range: Varying rates, most frequently $40-50/hour based on experience & location
